heart.In other words,those who don\u2019t care don\u2019t mourn.But those who care are willing to feel the pain of loss.There is a remarkable amount of hurt in this world.And while it would be great to avoid pain,the only alternatives are to become abusive or to become numb to it.And,lest you\u2019re confused,neither of those are a good way to exist.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus understands this.One of the shortest verses in the Bible,and one of the most significant,says this:\u201cJesus wept.\u201dAt a funeral,Jesus mourned the loss of his friend and he carried the heartache of the situation,precisely because he was willing to love deeply.He didn\u2019t have to care.But he did.Jesus cries with his friends.He wears their burdens.He tends to their wounds.<\/p>\n<p>And then he raises them to life once again.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pray for the Day:<\/p>\n<p>Jesus,give me a heart big enough to mourn and a soul big enough to take the
