Not here, really? Not now, right? Sure, I know there are problems around the world\u2014out there\u2014but not around me. Kids don\u2019t go hungry in this nation. People aren\u2019t cast aside here. Families have everything they need to be successful in my community, don\u2019t they?<\/p>\n

Jesus is on mission. That means you had better be too. He listens for the cry of the hungry and leans into the mess of those who are in trouble. He looks for darkness and pierces it with his brilliance. He searches the rubble for signs of those who are trapped. He works with precision to remove the concrete and rebar and beams crushing them. He attends to wounds and orchestrates restoration efforts. He patiently heals and persistently rejoices when he sees people find life through his hands. There is plenty of rescue work to do. What a privileged calling you and<\/p>\n
