Today is the big day of love, that fancy day where half-naked flying babies shoot people with arrows. Nothing says I love you like some kid sending projectiles into your backside in order to manipulate how you feel about someone else. Seriously, nothing says I love you like that. Some people treasure this day for the chocolaty-sugary romance, while other people can\u2019t wait until tomorrow.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the risk of being sappy, perhaps this is a good day to remember how much Jesus loves you. He doesn\u2019t love you in some consumeristic way. He doesn\u2019t run to the store in a last-minute panic after realizing that he forgot to buy you a huge Power Ranger Valentine candy heart. No, Jesus actually loves you. He isn\u2019t fickle about it either. And he isn\u2019t cheap. He is in this relationship for good, and he wants his love for you to change the way you love others.<\/p>\n

Lord Jesus, let it sink in how much you truly love me. And let that make a difference in the way that I learn to love others. Amen.<\/p>\n
