Rare is the day when people are aware of what God wants them to do with their lives. Perhaps that is one of the underlying reasons for this devotional book, a simple reminder that God calls people to make a difference in this world every day they are alive.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

People don\u2019t always check in with Jesus to get their daily assignments. As a result, they toil and labor, but their work is in vain when it\u2019s not something Jesus has set before them. People can play and laze, but their happiness is shallow and empty when it\u2019s not on God\u2019s radar.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perhaps much of human dissatisfaction in life comes from not doing the work Jesus has assigned people to do. What would change in human hearts if people were to present themselves to Jesus ready for work? What if people checked in with him each morning and asked, \u201cSir, what do you want me to do today?\u201d This world would be a much different place.<\/p>\n
