And yet those nine extra minutes of sleep sure would be nice. But do those 540 seconds actually help your grumpy attitude? Some people claim to be even crankier after each smack of their snooze button.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What if, instead of the next time you hit the snooze button, you stopped to pray? Knowing that you have nine more minutes to ask Jesus to get you into the right frame of mind could transform everything about your day. Perhaps that extra slumber could be used to reorient your entire way of thinking. Instead of letting the problems of the world, including your own flaws, failings, and festering worries, muck your mind, choose in those snooze minutes to see whatever is good. Choose to trust God enough to consider, to pursue, and to place your hope in whatever is true.<\/p>\n
