There is a lot to complain about, isn\u2019t there? Maybe your day has been disrupted by a friend\u2019s grumpiness. Maybe your to-do list is getting longer because your boss keeps giving you more and more to do. Maybe someone cut you off while driving to work this morning. Maybe somebody let you down. Maybe you didn\u2019t get something you thought you should have gotten from your friend. Or maybe you got something you didn\u2019t think you should get from someone.<\/p>\n

Complaining about someone else is our bratty way of venting our frustrations with others. Being frustrated with friends or family or bosses is not necessarily a bad feeling to have; in fact, it is quite normal to be frustrated with others. But turning that frustration into a kind of venting gossip or passive-aggressive attack displays a sour heart.<\/p>\n

There is a better way of handling your angst with others. Pray about it. Take a deep breath. Realize that someone else\u2019s rudeness reflects upon them, so don\u2019t let it echo off of you. A heart that grumbles is a heart that is empty. Fill your heart with Jesus instead.<\/p>\n
