Be strong and courageous. Notice the command here. Don\u2019t just be strong and don\u2019t just be courageous. But be strong and <\/i><\/em>courageous. This is what the Lord told Joshua as he was about to take a huge leadership role. The responsibility must have been overwhelming. Moses, Mister Miracle Man, who had effectively led Israel for forty years, had passed the baton on to Joshua. Everyone must have wondered, Are we going to be okay? Will Joshua be able to lead us like Moses did?<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n

The Lord can enable anyone he wants, to do anything he wants them to do. Joshua had proven himself to be a consistent, dedicated person who put God\u2019s interests above his own. So when the grand moment came, the Lord was ready to empower him and use him. \u201cDon\u2019t listen to\u00a0everyone\u2019s fears. Don\u2019t be led astray by your own anxiety. Trust me.\u201d<\/p>\n

God is calling you to make a difference in the world. Trust him to work through you today. He is with you when you are following his lead in your life.<\/p>\n
