HEADING FOR HEAVEN<\/p>\n

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved,we have a building go God,a house not made with hands,eternal in the heavens.2 Corinthians 5:1<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n

When you get ready to go on a trip,there are several things you must do.<\/p>\n

Frist,you must decide where you are going.It does no good to make preparations to travel if you are unsure of your final destination.Next,if you are to travel by plane,bus,train,or boat,you must reserve a ticket and tell the ticket agent your destinations.Then you must pay for your ticket,and finally,you must pack what you will need while you are away.<\/p>\n

Preparing for heaven is much like going on a journey.First,you must decide that heaven is the place to which you want to go.Next,you must purchase your ticket.But wait!You cannot get to heaven by plane,boat,train,or car.<\/p>\n

Jesus said,\u201cI am the way,the truth,and the life.No man comes to the Father but by me\u201d(John 14:6).Jesus is the only way to heaven,and only He can purchase the ticket.We cannot afford it,no matter how many good works we may have done.Only Christ\u2019s blood is a sufficient price to purchase this ticket and only by trusting in Christ may we receive it,free of charge.You see,He has already made the purchase and anxiously awaits an opportunity to give it to us,all expenses paid.Now who among us would not love to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the most wonderful place we could ever visit?<\/p>\n

After becoming a Christian,all of our life becomes a preparation for our journey.God wants to prepare us through our service for Him,through our witnessing,tithing,faithful church attendance,and holy living for a place where such attitudes and behavior will be commonplace.<\/p>\n

Are you going to heaven?Have you started packing yet?<\/p>\n
