\u5929\u7236\uff0c\u6c42\u7962\u4f7f\u6211\u4eec\u4e0e\u4f17\u5723\u5f92\u4e00\u8d77\u5145\u6ee1\u5e73\u5b89\u548c\u559c\u4e50\uff1b\u5949\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u540d\u7977\u544a\uff0c\u963f\u4eec\u3002<\/p>\n

JOY IN BELIEVING<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13, TEV<\/p>\n

Jesus said, \u201cLet not your heart be troubled\u2026believe.. in me\u201d(John 14:1). When faith is strong, troubles become trifles.<\/p>\n

There can be comfort in sorrow because in the midst of mourning God gives a song. God says in Job 30:9. \u201cI am their song. \u201d \u00a0In Job 35:10 Elihu asks, \u201cWhere is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night?\u201d His presence in our lives changes our mourning into song, and that song is a song of comfort. Sometimes it must be night to have that song!<\/p>\n

This kind of comfort is the kind which enabled a devour Englishman during World War II to look at a deep, dark hole in the ground where his home stood before the bombing and say, \u201cI always did want a basement, I did. Now I can jolly well build another house like I always wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

This kind of comfort is the kind which enabled a young minister\u2019s wife in a church near us to teach her Sunday school class of girls on the very day of her husband\u2019s funeral. Her mourning was not the kind which had no hope-it was a mourning of faith in the goodness and wisdom of God; it believed that our heavenly Father makes no mistakes.<\/p>\n

I often think of the two shortest verses in the Bible in this connection. \u201cJesus wept\u201d is the shorter of the two. But in the original Greek I understand this \u201cshortest\u201d verse has three words whereas the verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:16 (\u201cRejoice evermore\u201d) has only two. However, it is easy to see the lovely connection between the two verses. The Christian\u2019s joy flows from the sympathy and grace of his Savior. Jesus wept-we rejoice evermore.<\/p>\n
