GOD\u2019S Children<\/p>\n

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:26<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n

As God\u2019s children,we are His dependents.The Bible says,\u201cLike as a father pitieth his children,so the Lord pitieth them that fear him\u201d(Psalm 103:13).<\/p>\n

Dependent children spend little time worrying about meals,clothing,and shelter.They assume,and they have a right to,that all will be provided by their parents.<\/p>\n

Jesus said,\u201cTake no thought,saying,What shall we eat?Or,What shall we drink?Or,How shall we be clothed?…But seek ye first the kingdom of God\u2026and all these things shall be added unto you\u201d(Matthew 6:31,33).<\/p>\n

Because God is responsible for our welfare,we are told to cast all our cares upon Him,for He cares for us(1 Peter 5:7).Because we are dependent upon God,Jesus said,\u201cLet not your heart be troubled\u201d(John 14:1).God says,\u201cI\u2019ll take the burden-don\u2019t give it a thought-leave it to Me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Children are not backward about asking for things.They would not be normal if they did not boldly make their needs known.<\/p>\n

God has said to His children,\u201cTherefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,that[you]may obtain mercy,and find grace to help in time of need\u201d(Hebrews 4:16).God is keenly aware that we are dependent upon Him for life\u2019s necessities.It was for that reason that Jesus said,\u201cAsk,and it shall be given you;seek,and ye shall find;knock,and it shall be opened unto you\u201d(Matthew 7:7).<\/p>\n

What is troubling you today?Is your heart burdened because of some problem which threatens to overcome you?Are you filled with anxiety and worry about some problem,wondering what will happen?Listen:As a child of God through faith in Christ,you can turn these over to Christ,knowing that He loves you and is able to help you.<\/p>\n
