\u4eba\u7c7b\u793e\u4f1a\u7684\u6551\u8d4e\u53ea\u6709\u9760\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u518d\u6765\u7684\u5927\u80fd\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u5929\u56fd\u516c\u4e49\u7684\u539f\u5219\u624d\u80fd\u5f97\u4ee5\u5b9e\u73b0\u3002\u8fd9\u9884\u8a00\u4e2d\u6551\u8d4e\u7684\u5b9e\u73b0\uff0c\u9002\u7528\u4e8e\u4eba\u7c7b\u751f\u6d3b\u548c\u56fd\u5bb6\u751f\u5b58\u7684\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u9636\u6bb5\u3002<\/p>\n

SALVATION OF SOCIETY<\/p>\n

We through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.Galatians 5:5<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n

The late C.S.Lewis,in his remarkable book Christian Behavior,said,\u201cHope is one of the theological virtues.\u201dThis means that a continual looking forward to the eternal world is not,as some modern people think,a form of escapism or wishful thinking,but one of the things a Christian is meant to do.It does not mean that we are to leave the present world as it is.If you read history you will find that the Christians who did the most for the present world were those who thought the most of the next.It is only since Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they\u2019ve become so ineffective in this one.\u201cAim at heaven,\u201dsaid C.S.Lewis,\u201cand you will get earth thrown in.Aim at earth,and you will get neither.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0midst of the pessimism,gloom,and frustration of the present hour there is one bright beacon of light of hope-and that is the promise of Jesus Christ,\u201cIf I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again\u201d(John 14:3).<\/p>\n

The whole nature of individual salvation rests squarely on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.The Scripture says,\u201cFor by grace are ye saved through faith;and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God:not of works,lest any man should boast\u201d(Ephesians 2:8-9).<\/p>\n

But the Bible also teaches that the salvation of society-in the reordering of man\u2019s social injustice,war,poverty,and disease-will be taken out of man\u2019s hands someday.We\u2019re not going to achieve all this by education,evolution,politics,technology,military power,or science.Nor will it be achieved by a universal church that can influence legislation in the congresses and parliaments of nations so as to produce such benevolent acts of man that all hate,evil,and sin will be abolished.<\/p>\n

The salvation of society will come about by the powers and forces released by the apocalyptic return of Jesus Christ.It will come through the Kingdom of God in its principles of righteousness.It will be the prophesied fulfillment of redemption applied to every phase of human life and national existence.<\/p>\n
