配得敬拜

“在船上的人都拜他，说：「你真是神的儿子了。」”

马太福音14:33

耶稣正如自己所说的，他是人的形象、神的本体。这对我们救恩来言是非常重要的真理。只有神圣的救主才能为我们的罪而死，做完全的牺牲；只有神圣的主才能指教我们如何生活。只有复活升天的神的儿子才配得我们的敬拜和服事。我们承认耶稣基督是神，是我们的救赎主。

耶稣在地上的时候，他是道成肉身，是神也是人，是从亘古到永远的耶稣基督。耶稣的死亡和复活，成为救赎的福音。作为神的使者，我们应该完全、真实地披戴基督的样式。如果做不到这一点，我们就不配承受这项崇高而神圣的使命。

公元325年尼西亚大公会议上通过尼西亚信经，确认“耶稣是完全的神，和神是同一本体”。因着信，耶稣成为我们的主和救主。天上地上的权柄都赐给他了。（太28:18）当下邪恶的世界体系并不承认祂的主权，它仍在世界之王魔鬼撒但欺骗的掌控之下。（弗2:2）那些有主内住的，可以胜过恶者和牠的爪牙。使徒约翰说：“小子们哪，你们是属神的，并且胜了他们；因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。”（约翰一书4:4）

因此，尽管我们人有缺陷甚至失败，主仍然愿意施行他救赎的工作，并要人为他作见证。因着他的大能，靠着爱我们的主，在这一切的事上已经得胜有余了。”（罗8:37）正如这节令人鼓舞和安慰的经文所应许的那样，没有什么“能叫我们与神的爱隔绝；这爱是在我们的主基督耶稣里的。”（罗8:39）神可以将最大的悲剧变为祝福并荣耀祂，因为“我们晓得万事都互相效力，叫爱神的人得益处，就是按他旨意被召的人。”（罗8:28）

因为耶稣是救主，他把我们从罪的刑罚中拯救出来。因为他是主，我们每天与他同行，靠着他的圣灵，我们可以得胜。“像这样，基督既然一次被献，担当了多人的罪，将来要向那等候他的人第二次显现，并与罪无关，乃是为拯救他们。”（来9:28）因为他是神，我們承认他是救主，他就救我们。“你若口里认耶稣为主，心里信神叫他从死里复活，就必得救。”（罗10:9）

今日祷告：

父啊，求你用你的灵充满我们，使我们成为你的见证人，忠于你的命令。求祢差遣我们，以祢独生爱子的权柄，勇敢地出去传扬福音；奉耶稣的名，阿门。

WORTHY OF OUR WORSHIP

Then they…came and worshiped him,saying,of a truth thou art the Son of God.Matthew 14:33

Jesus Christ is who He said He is:God in human form.And that is a crucial truth which undergirds the reality of our salvation.Only the divine Savior could die as the perfect and complete sacrifice for our sins.Only the divine Lord could tell us how we should live.Only the risen and ascended Son of God is worthy of our worship and our service.“We confess Jesus Christ as God,our Lord and Savior.”

During His time here on earth,He was God in the flesh,true God and true man,He is from eternity to eternity Jesus Christ,by His death and resurrection,became the Gospel.As His ambassadors we must represent Him in all His fullness totally and truthfully.Anything less disqualifies us from our high and holy calling.

The Nicene Creed that came out of the Council of Nicaea in A.D.325 affirmed He is“very God of very God…being of one substance with the Father.”

By faith Jesus becomes our Lord and Savior.All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him(Matthew 28:18).The present evil world system does not yet acknowledge His lordship;it is still under the deceiving power of the prince of this world,Satan(Ephesians 2:2).But those whom Jesus indwells have authority over the evil one and all his demons.The apostle John declares,“Greater is he that is in you,than he that is in the world”(1 John 4:4).

Therefore,in spite of our human limitations and even our failures,the Lord is sovereignly directing His own work of redemption through witnessing for Him.And we are linked to the vast resources of His power so that we don’t merely“get by”in our lives and ministries but“in all these things we are more than conquerors through him”(Roman 8:37).And as the context of that inspiring and reassuring verse promises,nothing“shall be able to separate us from the love of God,which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”(Roman 8:39).God can turn the greatest tragedies into that which is for our good and for His glory,for“we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,to them who are the called according to his purpose”(Romans 8:28).

Because Jesus is Savior,He saves us from the penalty of sin.Because He is Lord,He,by His Holy Spirit,gives us power over sin as we daily walk with Him.And some future day He will take us to be with Him,far from the very presence of sin(Hebrews 9:28).Only because Jesus is God and we have confessed Him as Savior and Lord,can He bestow and we receive these benefits,this blessed assurance and hope(Romans 10:9).

Pray for the Day:

Father,fill us with Your Spirit to be Your witnesses,to be faithful to Your commands.We pray that You will send us out with boldness and in the authority of Your Son;in Jesus’Name,Amen.
