神的儿女

圣灵与我们的心同证我们是神的儿女。

罗马书 8:16

我们有三个大敌：罪、撒但和死亡。但因基督已经从死里复活，罪、死亡和撒但也已被彻底打败了；又因基督从死里复活，我们知道死后还有生命；所以我们若属于祂，就不必惧怕死亡和地狱。耶稣说：“复活在我，生命也在我。信我的人，虽然死了，也必复活；凡活着信我的人必永远不死”（约翰福音 11:25-26）。

祂还应许：“在我父的家里，有许多住处；若是没有，我就早已告诉你们了。我去原是为你们预备地方去。我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再来接你们到我那里去；我在哪里，叫你们也在那里”（约翰福音 14:2-3）。

我们知道这些话都是真实的，因为耶稣在十字架上死，又复活了。耶稣的复活给我们带来了何等荣耀的盼望！神为爱祂的人所预备的，是眼睛未曾看见，耳朵未曾听见，人心也未曾想到的（哥林多前书 2:9）。

我们对未来的信心是坚定地基于神在基督里为我们所成全的事上。因此，无论我们处境如何，都不要绝望，因为基督活着。“我们若与基督同死，就信必与祂同活……因为罪的工价乃是死；惟有神的恩赐，在我们的主基督耶稣里，乃是永生”（罗马书 6:8，23）

今日祷告：

父啊，我们爱祢。我们敬拜祢。我们的盼望全在乎祢。我们感谢祢！因祢藉着复活的主耶稣基督，使我们可以与祢相亲；祷告奉耶稣的名，阿们。

CHILDREN OF GOD

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Romans 8:16

We have three great enemies: sin, Satan, and death. Because Christ rose from the dead, we know that sin and death and Satan have been decisively defeated. And because Christ rose from the dead, we know there is life after death, and that if we belong to Him we need not fear death or hell. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26, NIV). He also promised, “In my Father’s house are many rooms: if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (John 14:2-3, NIV). We know these words are true, because Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead. What a glorious hope we have because of Jesus’ resurrection!

No eye has seen,

No ear has heard,

No Mind has conceived.

What God has prepared for those

Who loves him.

1 Corinthians 2:9, NIV

Our confidence in the future is based firmly on the fact of what God has done for us in Christ. No matter what our situation may be, we need never despair because Christ is alive. “Now if we die with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him… For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:8, 23, NIV)

Pray for the Day:

Father, we love You. We worship You. Our hope is in You. And we thank You because You have given us a relationship with Yourself through the risen Lord Jesus Christ; in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
