需要上帝

“虚心的人有福了！因为天国是他们的。”

马太福音5:3

人类需要上帝。每个人都要和造物主有一个关系。无论是每日生活，还是长久大计，都只有上帝才能保障。当人们遭遇崩溃时，他们呼求上帝，因为正是在那个时刻人们需要祂。人们有了上帝，就有了所需的一切。

但是我们也知道人们并没有认识到他们对上帝的需要。他们不依靠上帝，却试图依靠自己。离开上帝，可以自我陶醉，积累财富，然而那些脱离上帝的所谓快速致富的捷径以及快速解决问题的方案，都注定是一败涂地。

心灵贫穷是人类的一个关键姿态。骄傲则是一种错觉，以为拥有了一切。而贫穷却是缺乏时的渴求。只有意识到需要上帝，没有上帝就无所适从，才会得到只有上帝能够奖赏的、祂的同在和君尊的地位。

今日祷告：

主耶稣，让我知道我每时每刻都需要你。让我不依靠自己，而是全然依靠祢。

January 29-Be Needy

“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him,for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.“

MAT T H EW 5:3

People need God.Every person needs a relationship with his or her Creator.People need the daily breath and long-term purpose that only God provides.When things fall apart,they cry out to the Lord because he is who they need during those time.And when people have God,they have everything they need.

But people have also been known to fail to recognize their need for God.Instead of finding their dependency in their Creator,they have tried to go at it alone.While independence from God might puff up the ego and build up a bank account,any get-rich-quick schemes or quick-fix solutions that avoid God are bound to end in ruin.

Being“poor of heart”is an important posture for humans to take.Pride is a false sense of having everything,while poverty is the desperation of not having enough.Those who realize they need God,that they are desperate without him,will be rewarded with the relationship and royal status only God can provide.

Pray for the Day:

Lord Jesus,let me admit my need for you throughout the day.Let me rely on you rather than myself.Amen.
