舍身取义

“他救了我们脱离黑暗的权势，把我们迁到他爱子的国里；我们在爱子里得蒙救赎，罪过得以赦免。”

歌罗西书1:13-14

如果你可以买任何东西，你会买什么？跑车？无线耳机？大学学费？好成绩？爱情？尊重？你打算买什么？

耶稣也被问到同样的问题，而祂的回答是：人的自由，让人从罪的捆绑中得到释放。那就是祂要买赎的。祂也的确做到了。但是祂不是用金钱。他放弃了一切，为了买赎人类的自由。耶稣舍下了地位、荣耀、宝血，为那些夺走他生命的人，买赎了自由。

如果你愿意，耶稣也会将你从罪的捆绑中释放，因为他舍了自己，赦免了人的罪。

今日祷告：

主耶稣，我不配祢为我所做的一切。谢谢祢的赦免。让我今天能够活在祢救赎的自由里。奉主耶稣基督的圣名，阿们！

March 10-For He Gave

For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

If you could buy anything,what would it be?A sports car?Wireless Beats headphones?College tuition?Good grades?Love?Respect?What you would buy?

Jesus had the same question posed to him.His answer?“Well,here’s what I’d buy:freedom for people enslaved to sin.That’s what I’d want to purchase.”And so he did.But not with money.He gave over all that he had to purchase freedom for humanity.He gave over his status,his glory,and his very blood to purchase freedom for the very people who took his life from him.

If you want,Jesus will free you from your bondage to sin,for he gave himself to forgive people of their sin.

Pray for the Day:

Lord Jesus,I don’t deserve what you have done for me.Thank you for your forgiveness.Let me live in the freedom you have purchased for me today.Amen.
