鼓起勇气

“我将这些事告诉你们，是要叫你们在我里面有平安。在世上，你们有苦难；但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界。」”

约翰福音16:33

如果你今天已经决定为耶稣而活，那就鼓起勇气跟随他。这不是一件容易的事，因为你要违背世界的潮流，坚持真理，要为那些被遗弃的人争取权利，要为弱势群体发声，同时又要做到有礼有利有节。跟随耶稣，意味着你不会再效仿这个世界，不会再以自己为中心，不会再你争我斗。跟随耶稣意味着在一个需要改变的世界里做出改变。

这并不容易。但是，耶稣也没有说这是容易的。耶稣告诉我们：他要给我们平安和力量，他要为我们争战；他要给我们能力和勇气，他要与我们一同捍卫真理；他要让我们有能力去爱那些不可爱的人，为信仰打美好的仗。耶稣要改变这个世界，祂要你和他一起努力。

今日祷告：主耶稣，我全力以赴，满怀信心和勇气。因为你在改变世界，祢要用我来做成这项工作。奉主耶稣基督的圣名，阿们！

March 18-Take Heart

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.But take heart,because I have overcome the world.”

JOH N 1 6:3 3

If you decide to live for Jesus today,then take heart.It is not easy to decide to go against the flow of the culture,to stand for truth,to rally around those who are outcast,to speak up for those who cannot defend themselves,and to do it with humility and integrity.Following Jesus means not following the patterns in society that are self-serving or peer pressured or garbage grabbing.Following Jesus means making a difference in a world that needs a difference to be made.

And that is not easy.But,then again,Jesus didn’t say it would be easy.He said he would give us peace and strength and that he would fight on our behalf.He said he would empower and embolden us and that he would be with us as we stand for the truth.He said he would enable us to love the unlovable and to fight the good fight of faith.Jesus wants to change this world.And he wants you to change it with him.

Pray for the Day:

Lord Jesus,I’m all in.I will take heart because you are changing this world,and you are doing it through me.Amen.
