神的美意

“耶和华开了瞎子的眼睛；耶和华扶起被压下的人。耶和华喜爱义人。”

诗篇146:8

正因为神爱世人，所以他不愿意直接用自己的大能消除我们这个世界的凶恶。他的计划是通过彰显他的大爱使我们脱离凶恶——就是爱子耶稣在十字架上所显明的。

正是在神的爱中，我们找到了解决苦难这个问题的终极答案。只要我们理解、认识神的品格，就会得到苦难这个古老问题的答案。

约伯就是一个见证。在他最痛苦、最疑惑的时候，神向他显明了自己性情的各个方面。约伯看见了神伟大的智慧。通过这次经历，约伯认识到神的品格，知道神是值得信靠的。虽然约伯不明白神一切作为的最终目的，但是他可以信靠神。因为神知万事，他为我们所做的一定是最好的。

人永远不可能完全了解神的一切奥秘和动机，神是无限的，而人是有限的。我们的知识和理解也是有限的，但是基于我们对神性情的认知，这一点在十字架上已经得到了充分的体现，因此我们完全可以相信一切都有他的美意。

正如彭柯丽所说，同样一面刺绣，正面向着神。我们看到的那一面可能是松散杂乱的线头，而神看到的却是图案。

神掌管一切。无论我们的生命中遇到什么，无论多么艰难或危险，我们都可以满怀信心地说：“我们晓得万事都互相效力，叫爱神的人得益处，就是按他旨意被召的人。”（罗马书8:28）

天父，感谢您信实的爱。愿你的旨意成就。奉耶稣的名，阿门。

GOD’S RESTRAINING LOVE

The Lord loveth the righteous.Psalm 146:8

It is really God’s love for man which restrains Him from removing evil from our world by a display of His power.God’s plan is to remove evil by a display of His love-the love that He demonstrated at Calvary.

It is in God’s love that we find the key to the ultimate solution of the problem of suffering.The answer to the age-old question of suffering rests in an understanding and appreciation of the character of God.

This is what Job discovered.At the height of his suffering and questioning,God revealed Himself in various aspects of His character to Job.Job was given an awesome demonstration of God’s wisdom.Through this experience he came to realize that God could be trusted on the basis of His character.Although Job could not understand the ultimate purpose for all of God’s actions,he could trust God.Because God knows and understands all things,He can be trusted to do what is best.

There will always be secrets and motives of God which lie beyond the grasp of man.God is infinite;man is finite.Our knowledge and understanding are limited.But based upon what we do know about God’s character,demonstrated supremely in the Cross,we can trust that God is doing what is best for our lives.

As Corrie ten Boom once explained,“Picture a piece of embroidery placed between you and God,with the right side up toward God.Man sees the loose,frayed ends;but God sees the pattern.”

God is in control.Whatever comes into our lives,no matter how difficult or dangerous it may be,we can confidently say.,“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose”(Romans 8:28)
