回报神恩（舍而不得）

“你们白白地得来，也要白白地舍去。”

马太福音10:8

关于金钱，有两种哲学。一种是撒但哲学。正如撒但对耶稣说的话，牠也会对每一个人说：「你若俯伏拜我，我就把这一切都赐给你。」（马太福音4:9）

另一种是基督哲学。耶稣说：「你还缺少一件：要变卖你一切所有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上；你还要来跟从我。（路加福音18:22）

第一种是出于自私，第二种是出于无私；第一种以贪婪为中心，第二种以神为中心；第一种是世界的眼光，第二种是永恒的眼光；第一种，注定失败；第二种，必然成功。

你告诉我是怎样看待金钱的，我就知道你是怎样看待神的。因为这两者是密切相关的。人最看重自己的钱包，比其他什么都重要。

令人震惊的事实表明，在过去几年，我们美国人在奢侈品和非必需品上的花费是用于慈善和宗教活动上的十倍。这不仅仅是一个冷酷的统计数据，这正说明了一个所谓基督教国家在信仰上的薄弱和肤浅。

圣经教导我们，我们只是我们所拥有资源的临时管家。如果我们滥用神的资源，如同那个把他的恩赐埋在地里的人那样，就会带来上帝最严厉的评判。

我们最大的过犯之一，就是不知感恩。尽管有难过和麻烦，生命中还有很多祝福和喜乐，我们有看的能力、听的能力、说的能力、思考的能力，以及想象的能力，这些都是神所赐的。

即便是爱的能力也是神的恩赐。我们将祂所赐给我们的一部分再献给祂，以表达我们的感激。

对于神曾经和现在给你的赐福，你有没有做些什么向祂表达你的感激之情呢？

今日祷告：

天父，我感谢你所做的一切，因为你赦免了我所有的罪，并将我的名字写在生命册上。没有什么比这更重要的了。谢谢祢。求祢帮助我正确地做出优先选择，让我爱你而不是爱金钱。帮助我将金钱用在事工上；奉耶稣的名，阿门。

GIVING,NOT GETTING

[Jesus said:]Freely ye have received,freely give.Matthew 10:8

There are clearly two philosophies about money.The first is Satan’s.He says to every man as he said to Christ,“All these things will I give thee,if thou wilt fall down and worship me”(Matthew 4:9).

The second philosophy is Christ’s.“Sell all that thou hast,and[give it to]the poor…and come,follow me”(Luke 18:22).

The first is motivated by selfishness;the second,by unselfishness.

The first has greed at the center;the second has God at the heart.The first has an eye for this world;the second has an eye for eternity.The first is slated for failure;the second,for success.

Tell me what you think about money,and I can tell you what you think about God,for these two are closely related.A man’s heart is closer to his wallet than almost anything else.

It is a staggering fact that for the past few years we Americans have spent ten times as much for luxuries and nonessentials as we have for charitable and religious purposes.This is more than a cold statistic.It is a commentary on the shallow and superficial religious faith in a nation that is nominally Christian.

The Scripture teaches that we are stewards for a little while of all we earn.If we misuse it,as did the man who buried his talent,it brings upon us the severest judgment of God.

One of the worst sins that we can commit is that of ingratitude.In the midst of sorrow and trouble,this life has many blessings,and enjoyment,the ability to see,to hear,to speak,to think,and to imagine-all this comes from the hand of God.

Even our capacity for love is a gift from God.We show our gratitude by giving back to Him a part of that which He has given to us.What have you done lately to show your gratitude to God for all that He has done,and is doing,for you?

Pray for the Day:

Father,I’m so thankful for all that You have done,for You have forgiven me for all my sins and written my name in the Book of Life.Nothing could be greater.Thank You.Help me set my priorities properly and to love You far more than money.Help me to use my money for Your Kingdom’s purposes;in Jesus’Name,Amen.
