效法基督

“门徒满心喜乐，又被圣灵充满。”

使徒行传13:52

曾有人对我说：“基督徒都是伪君子，我不想与基督有任何关系！”但这只是一个借口，用来逃避所要面对的基督真理。相反的，你要明白主的教训、审视祂的生活。如果你认识基督，并将自己的生命献给祂，就要效法祂，始终如一地在世上为祂而活。别人是否在你的生活中看到了基督的爱、祂的喜乐和祂的平安呢？

真正的基督徒应该是喜乐的！我们这一代人已精通基督教术语，但却没有真正践行基督的原则和教训。所以，我们今天最需要的不是更多的基督教，而是更多的真基督徒。

世人可能会反对作为一种制度的基督教，但对一个靠着圣灵竭力效法基督的人，却没有任何充足的理由可以反对。这样的人是对现今自私自利、理性主义和物质主义强有力的谴责。我们常与世人争论法律条文，而我们更应活出神的道，为众人所见，被众人所读。

现在是我们追本溯源，重新认识耶稣基督改变人生命能力的时候了。

耶稣对雅各井旁的妇人说：“人若喝我所赐的水，就永远不渴”（约翰福音4:14）。这个罪孽深重、幻想破灭的女人象征着整个民族。她的渴望就是我们的渴望！她的心声就是我们的心声！她的幻灭就是我们的幻灭！她的罪就是我们的罪！但是，她的救主也可以成为我们的救主！她能得赦免我们也能得赦免！她的喜乐也可以成为我们的喜乐！

今日祷告：

天父，我们愿以祢为乐。因此，让我们的所行与我们的所信一致，可以荣耀祢的圣名；祷告奉耶稣的名，阿们。

THE IMPACT OF CHRISTLIKE LIVING

The disciples were filled with joy,and with the Holy Ghost.Acts 13:52

At times people have said to me,“Christians are all hypocrites-I don’t want anything to do with Christ!”But that is an excuse to keep from having to face the truth that is in Christ.Instead,understand His teaching and examine His life.And if you know Christ and have committed your life to Him,learn from Him and live a consistent life for Him.Do others see something of Christ-His love,His joy,His peace-in your life?

True Christians are supposed to be happy!Our generation has become well versed in Christian terminology,but is remiss in the actual practice of Christ’s principles and teachings.Therefore,our greatest need today is not more Christianity but more true Christians.

The world may argue against Christianity as an institution,but there is no convincing argument against a person who through the Spirit of God has been made Christlike.Such a one is a living rebuke to the selfishness,rationalism,and materialism of the day.Too often we have debated with the world on the letter of the law when we should have been living oracles of God,seen and read by all people.

It is time that we retrace our steps to the source and realize afresh the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said to the woman at Jacob’s well,“Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst”(John 4:14).This sinsick,disillusioned woman was the symbol of the whole race.Her longings were our longings!Her heart-cry was our heart-cry!Her disillusionment was our disillusionment!Her sin was our sin!But her Savior can be our Savior!Her forgiveness can be our forgiveness!Her joy can be our joy!

Father,we rejoice in You.Therefore,make our lives to be consistent with our profession,and glorify Your Name through us;in Jesus’Name,Amen.
