主赐力量

“我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能做。”

腓立比书4:13

一个朋友告诉我一个见证。他的一个不信主的朋友遇到麻烦，就去找他。他知道我朋友是基督徒，就问他：“如果我靠耶稣得到重生，这些麻烦是不是就没有了？”我的朋友告诉他：“你的麻烦不会消失，但是你会有力量对付。”

想想吧。我们的麻烦和问题不会消失，但是我们会有力量去对付。这种对付麻烦的力量，让我们基督徒不断成长、强壮，以至于可以抵挡魔鬼和凶恶。如果我们所有问题一下子全解决了，我们可能永远也长不大了。我们就会成为手无缚鸡之力的精神懦夫。

耶稣在客西马尼花园的祷告也许是有史以来最伟大的祷告。我们的主，祈求把那即将加给他的十字架的苦杯从他身上挪走。但是紧接着他又说：“然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思。”（马太福音26:39)。如此祷告，何等有力，何等强大！

当使徒保罗求神除去他身上的刺时，神并没有除去，而是对他说：“我的恩典够你用的。”（哥林多后书12:9）

无论你遇到怎样的危机，基督都渴望和你一起面对。求告他的名，他必有预备和应许。他不会拿去你的麻烦，但是他会给你力量去克服和解决。

今日祷告：

父啊，靠着你的能力，我可以面对任何危机，任何问题，任何困难。求你与我同在。奉耶稣的名，阿们。

CHRIST IN THE CRISIS

For I am do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.Philippians 4:13 TLB

A friend told me the story of a nonbelieving friend of his who came to him in the midst of a very troubled day.Knowing that my friend is a Christian,the man asked him,“If I get born again,will all of my problems go away?”

“No,”said my friend,“but you will have the power to deal with them.”

Think about that.Our problems won’t go away,but we will have the power to deal with them.The power to deal with problems produces a muscular Christian who is capable of doing combat with the evil one.If we could dismiss all of our problems with a single stroke,we would be the most shallow of individuals.We would be spiritual“wimps”unable to fight our way out of wet paper bags!

The prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane is perhaps the greatest prayer ever uttered.Our Lord asked that this cup of crucifixion,which was about to be thrust upon Him,might be taken away.But then,in the very next breath He said,“Nevertheless not as I will,but as thou wilt”(Matthew 26:39).What a prayer!What strength!What power!

When the apostle Paul asked God to remove his“thorn in the flesh,”God did not remove it,saying instead,“My grace is sufficient for thee”(2 Corinthians 12:9).Christ desires to be with you in whatever crisis you may find yourself.Call upon His name.See if He will not do as He promised He would.He will not make your problems go away,but He will give you the power to deal with and overcome them.

Pray for the Day:

Father,through Your empowering,I can face any crisis,any problem,any difficulty.Be with me,Lord;in Jesus’Name,amen.
