手洁心清

“谁能登耶和华的山？谁能站在他的圣所？就是手洁心清，不向虚妄，起誓不怀诡诈的人。”

诗篇24:3-4

现代的年轻人，最不容易接受的，应该就是基督教的圣洁观念。但是，圣经的确教导我们在婚姻中要持守忠诚。圣经还教导我们要避免婚前性行为，圣经称之为犯奸淫。事实上，圣经说那些犯奸淫的人进不了天国。

我们生活在一个最为放任的社会。电影、杂志、广告等等，都在向我们散发感官情欲的信息。“跟着感觉走，开心就好。”已经成为大众的座右铭。

但是，那些在主耶稣基督面前认罪悔改的人，会告诉你，他们是多么悔恨和痛苦。他们会告诉你，他们多么希望自己从没有做过那些事。

很多畅销的基督教文学作品，都讲述了那些犯罪或沉溺于感官享乐之中的男男女女。感谢上帝，因为基督已经救赎并赦免了他们。但是，最好的见证应该是始终保持圣洁的人生。

持守圣洁的秘诀只有一个，就是上帝。从上帝那里得着圣洁的心灵。无论环境如何，无论周遭发生什么，你都会快乐无比。

今日祷告：

天父，谁能在你的圣所里站立呢？我们感谢你赐下耶稣基督，使我们有一颗清洁的心。耶稣基督的宝血救赎了我们，使我们罪得赦免。感谢祢，因着信，原本不洁的我们成为圣洁。祷告奉耶稣的名，阿们。

PURITY

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?And who shall stand in his holy place?He who has clean hands and a pure heart.Psalm 24:3-4 RSV

Purity is probably the least appreciated of all the Christian virtues among young people.Yet the Bible teaches there must be total faithfulness within the bonds of matrimony.It also teaches that premarital sex-fornication,the Bible calls it-is to be avoided.In fact,the Bible says that those who commit fornication(and adultery)will have no part in the kingdom of heaven.

We live in the most permissive society since pagan times.Movie marquees,the covers of magazines,and billboards scream sensual messages at us.“If it feels good,do it”has become a national motto.

Yet,if you talk with people who have come to Christ out of deep sin,they will tell you of their regret and of their torment.They will tell you they wish they had never fallen into such deep sin.

Many best-selling Christian books tell of men and women who committed terrible crimes or were involved in sensual pleasure.We rejoice with them that Christ has redeemed and forgiven them,but the best testimony is never to have fallen into such sin in the first place.

The secret of purity is God.Get a pure heart from God,and you can be supremely happy no matter what the circumstances and no matter what is going on around you.

Pray for the day:

Father,who can stand in Your holy place?We thank You that You have given us Jesus to make us clean and pure of heart,that we are saved through the blood of Jesus and can be forgiven for our sins through Him.We thank you,Lord,that we who were unclean can be made clean by our faith in the Lord.We pray in Jesus’Name,Amen.
