祷告能力

 

我们又藉着祂（基督），因信得进入现在所站的这恩典中，……

（罗马书5:2）

 

因为我们两下（犹太人和外邦人）藉着祂被一个圣灵所感，得以进到父面前。（以弗所书2:18）

 

圣经告诉我们，祷告要奉基督的名。

 

耶稣说：“你们奉我的名，无论求什么，我必成就，叫父因儿子得荣耀。”（约翰福音14:13）

 

除非藉着我们的中保耶稣基督，我们就不配到神圣洁的宝座前。

 

圣经说：“我们既然有一位已经升入高天尊荣的大祭司，就是神的儿子耶稣，……我们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为要得怜恤，蒙恩惠，作随时的帮助。”（希伯来书4:14，16）

 

神因着基督赦免我们的罪，神因着基督满足我们的需要，神因着基督垂听我们的祷告。凡带着信心来到施恩宝座前的人都已看到，我们得以亲近神，乃是靠着耶稣基督。

 

已故的巴恩豪斯博士（Dr.Donald Grey Barnhouse）提醒我们：我不太确定我是否相信“祷告的能力”，但我相信垂听祷告的神大有能力。当神的心意得到满足时，祂便要倾福予那些向他祷告的人。那是真正的能力。需要时得安慰，软弱时得刚强，有罪时得赦免，哀恸时得慰藉，忧伤时得喜乐。

 

当一个人接受了基督的救赎，就可以立刻亲近神，而且神所有的应许都是真实的。

 

我是否相信并如此祷告呢？

 

今日祷告：

天父，我感谢祢，赐给我奉耶稣的名所求的一切。求祢赐我更加信靠祢的心，用祢的圣灵充满我。让我行在祢的恩典中，荣耀祢的名。愿祢的名在全地得荣耀。祷告奉耶稣的名，阿们。

POWER IN PRAYER

 

By whom[Christ]also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand…Romans 5:2

 

For through him we both[Jew and Gentile]have access by one Spirit unto the Father…Ephesians 2:18

 

The Bible tells us to pray in Christ’s name.

 

Jesus said,“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name,that will I do,that the Father may be glorified in the Son”(John 14:13).

 

We are not worthy to approach the holy throne of God except through our advocate,Jesus Christ.

 

The Bible says,“Seeing then that we have a great high priest,that is passed into the heavens,Jesus the Son of God…let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace”(Hebrews 4:14,16).

 

God,for Christ’s sake,forgives our sins.God,for Christ’s sake,supplies our needs.God,for Christ’s sake,receives our prayers.The person who comes with confidence to the throne of grace has seen that his approach to God has been made possible because of Jesus Christ.

 

The late Dr.Donald Grey Barnhouse reminds us:

 

I am not so sure that I believe in“the power of prayer,”but I do believe in the power of the Lord who answers prayer.When the rules are met,then God pours out all blessings on those who come to Him in prayer.There is real power.There is comfort in time of need;strength in time of weakness;forgiveness when we have sinned;consolation in time of bereavement;joy in time of sorrow.

 

When one has accepted God’s terms of approach through the redemption that is provided by Christ,there is immediate access to him,and all the promises of God become certified to us.

 

Am I praying as if this were true?

Father,I thank You that You give me all that I ask in Jesus’Name.Give me more faith to trust You,and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.Let me walk in Your grace and glorify Your Name.Let Your Name be glorified in all the earth;in Jesus’Name,Amen.
