神的儿女

所以，你们因信基督耶稣都是神的儿子。

加拉太书3:26

作为神的儿女，我们倚靠祂。圣经说：“父亲怎样怜恤祂的儿女，耶和华也怎样怜恤敬畏祂的人”（诗篇103:13）。

被抚养的孩子很少花时间担心衣、食、住。因为他们认为，一切需用的东西都会由他们的父母提供。

耶稣说：“不要忧虑，说，吃什么？喝什么？穿什么？……你们要先求祂的国……这些东西都要加给你们了”（马太福音6:31，33）。

因为神对我们的生活所需负全责，所以神告诉我们，要把所有的忧虑都交给祂，因为祂顾念我们（彼得前书5:7）。因我们倚靠神，耶稣说：“你们心里不要忧愁”（约翰福音14:1）。神说：“我会担当这重担——不要忧虑——把它留给我。”

孩子们并不羞于向父母要东西，如果他们不大胆说出自己的需求，那就不正常了。

神对祂的儿女们说：“所以你们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为要得怜恤，蒙恩惠，作随时的帮助”（希伯来书4:16）。神深知，我们倚靠祂来满足生活必需。正因如此，耶稣说：“你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门”（马太福音7:7）。

你今天有什么烦心事吗？你是否因一些棘手的事心事重重吗？你是否对某些问题忧心忡忡，不知会发生什么吗？请听：我们因信基督已成为神的儿女，要把这些交托主，知道祂爱你，能够帮助你。

今日祷告：

父啊，我将我的忧愁、挂虑和烦恼全交托祢。我相信祢，知道祢顾念我；奉耶稣的名祷告，阿们。

GOD’S Children

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:26

As God’s children,we are His dependents.The Bible says,“Like as a father pitieth his children,so the Lord pitieth them that fear him”(Psalm 103:13).

Dependent children spend little time worrying about meals,clothing,and shelter.They assume,and they have a right to,that all will be provided by their parents.

Jesus said,“Take no thought,saying,What shall we eat?Or,What shall we drink?Or,How shall we be clothed?…But seek ye first the kingdom of God…and all these things shall be added unto you”(Matthew 6:31,33).

Because God is responsible for our welfare,we are told to cast all our cares upon Him,for He cares for us(1 Peter 5:7).Because we are dependent upon God,Jesus said,“Let not your heart be troubled”(John 14:1).God says,“I’ll take the burden-don’t give it a thought-leave it to Me.”

Children are not backward about asking for things.They would not be normal if they did not boldly make their needs known.

God has said to His children,“Therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,that[you]may obtain mercy,and find grace to help in time of need”(Hebrews 4:16).God is keenly aware that we are dependent upon Him for life’s necessities.It was for that reason that Jesus said,“Ask,and it shall be given you;seek,and ye shall find;knock,and it shall be opened unto you”(Matthew 7:7).

What is troubling you today?Is your heart burdened because of some problem which threatens to overcome you?Are you filled with anxiety and worry about some problem,wondering what will happen?Listen:As a child of God through faith in Christ,you can turn these over to Christ,knowing that He loves you and is able to help you.

Father,I give my worries and my cares and my troubles to You.I trust You.I know that You care for me;in Jesus’Name,Amen.
