不要沮丧

“但愿赐忍耐安慰的上帝叫你们彼此同心，效法基督耶稣；”

罗马书15:5

沮丧的根源在于对神没有信心。想想是什么让你灰心丧气呢？你赚钱不够吗？那是因为你不相信神可以供应你一切的需要。你担心健康问题吗？那是因为你不相信上帝是最好的医生，祂创造了你，也知道你每一个细胞的运作情况，如果祂愿意，祂岂不能医治你吗？

沮丧犹如一大片乌云，遮蔽了阳光的温暖与喜乐。当我们在属灵生命里灰心时，神的儿子耶稣基督就在我们的生命中黯然失色。灰心是魔鬼撒旦的伎俩，用来阻挠神在我们生命中的工作。灰心蒙蔽我们的眼睛，让我们看不到神的怜悯，只看到我们所处的不利环境。

消除沮丧只有一条路，不是靠我们自己的力量和才能。圣经说：“要等候耶和华！当壮胆，坚固你的心！我再说，要等候耶和华！”（诗篇27:14）

我的经验是，一个每天祷告、读经、信心坚定的人，绝不会长期灰心丧气。如果你和神亲近，你就不会沮丧，因为他就是那位赐给你一切盼望并大大激励你的神。

耶稣告诉我们：“但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界。”

今日祷告：

天父，感谢您的恩典和慈爱。当我们灰心失望的时候，求你激励我们；奉耶稣的名，阿们。

THE CLOUD OF DISCOURAGEMENT

May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another,in accord with Christ Jesus.Romans 15:5 RSV

The root of discouragement is unbelief.Consider what discourages you.You are not making enough money(you are not convinced that God can and will supply all of your needs);you are worried about health problems(Is not God the great physician?Did He not make your body and know how every cell functions?Can He not heal you when and if He wishes?)

Discouragement is a large cloud that,like all clouds,obscures the warmth and joy of the sun.In the case of spiritual discouragement the Son of God,the Lord Jesus,is eclipsed in our lives.Discouragement is Satan’s device to thwart the work of God in our lives.Discouragement blinds our eyes to the mercy of God and makes us perceive only the unfavorable circumstances.

There is only one way to dispel discouragement,and it is not in our own strength or ingenuity.The Bible says,“Wait on the Lord:be of good courage,and he shall strengthen thine heart:wait,I say,on the Lord.”(Psalm 27:14)

I have never met a person who spent time in daily prayer and in the study of God’s Word and who was strong in the faith who was ever discouraged for very long.You cannot be discouraged if you are close to the One who gives all hope and plenty to be encouraged about.

“Be of good cheer,”Jesus tells us.“I have overcome the world.”
