清洁纯一的心

“清心的人有福了！ 因为他们必得见上帝。”

马太福音 5:8

掺假，就是在一个本来很无暇、合格的产品里面，加入了一些杂质、一些劣质品。就像在纯天然的护肤产品里，悄悄添加化学成分。婚外情也是如此。

纯洁不代表天真。清心并不意味着没有经验或者无知可笑。这个世界嘲笑清心的人。他们不理解也不相信清心的人可以生存。这个世界相信，清心终将被腐蚀。

主耶稣不这么认为。他相信清心是可以活出来的。他相信清心始于我们定睛于神的性情，然后付诸于每天的行为。他认为清心可以开启人的双眼，以世人无法看见的方式来看世界 。事实上，清心的确拓展了生命的范畴和经历。

今日祷告：

主耶稣，求祢重新塑造我的心，凡事寻求祢。让我看见内心的杂质，重新恢复我清洁的心。奉主耶稣基督的圣名，阿们！

Febrary 3 – Be Pure

“God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.”

To “adulterate” a product is to add an inferior or polluted substance to what may have once been a spotless, good-hearted item. It is like secretly adding chemical ingredients to all-natural skin lotion, or adding an affair to a marriage.

Purity doesn’t imply naivete. To be pure doesn’t mean you are inexperienced or ignorant. The world mocks purity because it doesn’t understand it and doesn’t believe it has survival power. Eventually, the world believes, purity has to be corrupted, right?

Jesus doesn’t think so. He believes purity can be lived out practically. Jesus believes purity begins in the nature of a person’s focus upon God, and then it extends into everyday action. He suggests that purity opens the eyes to see in ways that others cannot. In fact, purity actually expands the paradigm and adventure of life.

Pray for the Day:

Lord Jesus, re-create my heart to seek you in everything. Find anything impure in me, point it out, and begin the process to restore me to a pure vision for you. Amen.
