两种呼召

“看哪，我站在门外叩门，若有听见我声音就开门的，我要进到他那里去，我与他，他与我一同坐席。”

启示录 3:20

你的受造是为了要过一个不平凡的人生。你生来就是要充满活力、朝气蓬勃、热情奔放地投入这个世界。所以，难怪你会相应这呼召。呼召，就是要你起来行动。呼召就是激发你那被神所创造的积极性和目的性。你被创造，是为了被呼召；你被呼召，从而显示你的创造力。你被塑造，是为了可以在这个星球上一 展身手。耶稣没有要你浪费光阴，他要你活出精彩。

耶稣和撒旦都在呼召人。但是你要警惕，魔鬼呼召你，无非是诱惑你去享受毁灭和杀戮的盛宴，企图利用你来完成他自己垂死挣扎前的计划。而与此相反，耶稣也呼召你，祂的呼召是邀请你参加一个爱的晚宴，与朋友分享，与主同工，给人生命。

今日祷告：

耶稣，求祢帮助我拒绝那恶者的诱惑，回应祢那赋予人生命的呼召。奉主耶稣基督的圣名，阿们！

February 19 – Provocative

Jesus says, “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”

You were created to live a radical life. You were made to be deeply alive, to be stretched to your fullest, and to be passionately involved in this world. So it is no wonder you are attracted to the provocative. Provocative simply means to “call forward.” It recognizes your Godcreated

thirst for activity and purpose. You were created to be called and called to be creative. You were formed so that you could step forward in the shaping of how life is lived on this planet. Jesus didn’t make you to squander your days; rather, he made you to live them.

Both Jesus and Satan employ the provocative. But let your ninja-like reflexes be aware that Satan calls you forward, but his is an enticement to eat from a cornucopia of carnage, scheming plans to use you for his own self-serving survival. On the other hand, Jesus calls you forward, and his is an invitation to dinner, shared with friends, empowering you as his partner to give life to others.

Pray for the Day:

Jesus, help me reject the alluring trap of evil and respond to your life-giving call. Amen.
