十分平安

“坚心倚赖你的，你必保守他十分平安，因为他倚靠你。”

以赛亚书26:3

我知道纵然是最伟大的基督徒，他们的信心也受到现代生活压力的考验。但是我们谁也不应该怀疑神的大能，让我们即使身处压力重重的二十一世纪，也得到他所赐的足够的恩典可以胜过各样的试炼。当我们在世上遇到困境时，基督徒不应该惊慌失措，大喊大叫：“我们该怎么办？”不应该比别人还更加紧张和焦虑。基督徒应该安静信靠神仍在施恩宝座上，祂是至高的神，按祂自己的计划行事。

在英国铁路工作的工人发现在一段铁轨下面，居然有一个画眉鸟巢。雌鸟安静地孵着鸟蛋，全然不受呼啸而过的火车轰鸣声的干扰。圣经说：“坚心倚赖你的，你必保守他十分平安。”相信我，神的恩典足够我们用的。我在自己的生命中也每天提醒自己，以基督为中心。世上的担忧、焦虑和烦恼就会消失，留在心中的只有十分的平安。

神已经担当了我们的担心和忧虑。在困苦患难中，我们有谁没有向神呼求过：“神啊，你眷顾我吗？”诗人也表达了我们许多人的心声：“我无处避难，也没有人眷顾我。”（诗篇142:4）马大，为琐事烦心，居然问主：“主啊，你不在意吗？”多少忠心爱主的母亲们，不堪家庭生活的重负，在焦虑中哭诉：“主啊，你不在乎我吗？”在波涛汹涌的大海中，门徒向主呼喊：“主啊，救我们，我们丧命啦！”

彼得的回答永远令人感到安慰：祂眷顾你。天与地都会废去，神的话语却不会改变。你要坚定信心：神在乎你，眷顾你，祂定会担当你的重担和忧烦，你就当一无挂虑。

今日祷告：

天父，我知道你眷顾我。求你用你的灵充满我，让我荣耀你的名；奉耶稣的名，阿门。

PERSONAL PEACE

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,whose mind is stayed on thee.Isaiah 26:3

I know that modern living taxes the faith of the greatest Christians,but none of us should doubt the ability of God to give us grace sufficient for our trials even amid the stresses of this twentieth century.In the middle of our world troubles,the Christian is not to go about wringing his hands,shouting,“What shall we do?”having more nervous tension and worry than anyone else.The Christian is to trust quietly that God is still on the throne.He is a sovereign God,working out things according to His own plan.

Some section hands on a British railroad found a thrush’s nest under a rail,and the hen peacefully sitting on the eggs undisturbed by the roar of the fast trains above and around her.The Bible says,“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,whose mind is stayed on thee.”Believe me,God’s grace is more than adequate for these times.I am learning in my own life,day by day,to keep my mind centered on Christ,and the worries and anxieties and concerns of the world pass away and nothing but“perfect peace”is left in the human heart.

God has taken the responsibility for our care and worry.Who of us has not asked in times of affliction and difficulty-does God care for me?The psalmist voiced the sentiments of many of us when he said,”…Refuge failed me;no man cared for my soul”(Psalm 142:4).Martha,over-concerned with her workaday duties,said to Jesus,“Lord,dost Thou not care?”How many faithful,loving mothers,overwhelmed by the burdens of motherhood,have cried anxiously,“Lord,dost Thou not card?”The disciples,tossed by the turbulent sea,cried,“Carest Thou not that we perish?”

That question is forever answered in those reassuring words of Peter:“He careth for you.”This is the Word of God,and the world will pass away before it can be altered.You can be positively assured that God does care for you,and if God cares for you and has promised to carry your burdens and cares,then nothing should distress you.

Father,I know that You care for me and You love me.I pray that you will fill me with Your Spirit and glorify Your Name through me;in Jesus’Name,Amen.
