述说上帝

“在列邦中述说他的荣耀！ 在万民中述说他的奇事！”

诗篇 96:3

假如说，未来有一天，你发现了可以永久治愈癌症的秘方。但是，设想一下，你没有公布这个秘方，没有和其它人分享，没有让人知道，而是自己保留着。那么，假设有一天你面对自己，你会对自己说什么？

如果有一群人在探索上帝，如果他们知道上帝所成就的大事以及祂的伟大计划，如果他们知道上帝为世界带来祂的救赎、医治、和平与生命，但是，他们只是自己保留着这些信息，那会怎样？如果你能见到这些人，并与他们直接交谈，你会对他们说什么？

诗篇敦促一切知道上帝美善荣耀的人传扬祂的名。这也是上帝呼召我们每个人去完成的使命。我们要向人传扬述说他奇妙作为。

今日祷告：

主耶稣，求祢帮助我放胆述说我所认识的神。奉主耶稣基督的圣名，阿们！

Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.

P S A L M 9 6 : 3

Let’s say for a moment that in the future you discovered the permanent cure for cancer. But then, let’s imagine, that instead of publishing that cure, instead of sharing it and making the cure known, you decided that you would keep it to yourself. Then, let’s say, you were able to meet yourself in the future and have a blunt conversation. What would you say to yourself?

What if a group of people were to discover God? And what if they came to know about the great things God had done and the great things he had plans yet to do? What if they knew that God offered salvation and healing and peace and life for the world? And what if they kept all of that

information to themselves? If you were able to meet these people and have a blunt conversation, what would you say to them?

The Psalms urge people who have discovered the good news about God to make him known to those around them. And this is what God has called each one of us to do as well—we are to publish what he has done to those around us.

Pray for the Day:

Dear Jesus, help me grow in my boldness for sharing what I know about you with others. Amen.
